Like many songs conceived and written by the artist, “What Are You Waiting For?” is basically me talking to me, saying “C’MON girl, let’s DO this thing!” Also like so many artists, I have toiled away many years in the shadows of obscurity, just doing what I love as a sideline to my “money gig”, hoping for a day when I might have the right combination of guts and good fortune to make that leap into a wider arena. But always, above all, we do it for the love, and for the desire to share some idea that moves or inspires us, in the hopes that it will do the same for someone else.
